It’s pretty common hearing people always complaining about their jobs but still staying at the same company. 

Reasons? 

Dare not jump out from the comfort zone. And this is due to them not having a clue what their worth 💖💖is in the workplace. 

Knowing your worth to stay competitive in the workplace is the only way you won’t be replaced by a younger workforce before it’s too late for you to realise. 

Whether or not you are planning to leave your current organisation, it’s always important to know your worth so that you know you are not limited to only one option. 

So, how to know your worth? 

1. Job research.

Do some surveys from different job sites, find out the similar positions, see if the salary range is aligned with what you’re getting. If it’s above your salary range, look at what other scope of duties or skill sets that you might be lacking right now. And then, polish the necessary skill sets 

2. Rapport with recruiters/industry experts.

Gauge as much as info from them about the “paycheck formula” and be aware of what the most required or top skill sets are that employers looking in the market for your position want to see. It could be the technology skills, soft skills or anything that could possibly increase your earnings.
