JOB VACANCY
POSITION - SENIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGN LEAD
LOCATION - KOTA BAYUEMAS, KLANG
SALARY - RM 6000-8000
1. Design & Technical Leadership
❖ Lead design coordination for steel, RC, and infrastructure works
❖ Translate design intent into practical, buildable solutions
❖ Resolve design conflicts and site constraints
2. Drafting & Detailing Oversight
Review and produce:
Steel shop drawings & connection details
RC detailing & BBS
❖ Infrastructure drawings
Ensure all drawings are accurate and site-ready
3. Coordination & Execution
Work with engineers, site team, fabrication yard & procurement
Ensure smooth flow from design → fabrication
Solve site and technical issues independently
installation
4. Team Leadership
Guide and manage junior draftspersons
Review and approve drawings before submission
5. Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with MS/BS/Eurocode
Maintain proper documentation and revision control
6. Project Ownership
Take full responsibility for accuracy, coordination, and delivery
Requirements
• Diploma / Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• 7-10 years' experience in steel & RC Experience in infrastructure works Technical Skills (Mandatory) AutoCAD (Advanced) Autodesk Advance Steel (Must)
• Able to read structural drawings & calculations
