We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Conference and Event Executive to support the planning and delivery of our annual conference, monthly webinars, and networking events. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow in the events and conference industry. What You'll Be Doing: -Support event planning – Help organize events from start to finish, including setting goals, choosing topics, and planning the event format. -Assist with content development – Work with the team to research current industry trends, help put together session agendas, and suggest potential speakers or panelists. -Coordinate speaker arrangements – Assist in contacting speakers, managing schedules, and handling logistics to ensure smooth participation. -Help with logistics and suppliers – Work with vendors and partners to make sure everything runs smoothly before and during the event. -Track budgets – Support the team in keeping event costs within budget and help with expense tracking. -Work across teams – Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to make sure every event is well-promoted and well-executed. -On-site support – Be part of the action on the event day to ensure everything goes according to plan. -Gather feedback – Help collect and analyze feedback from attendees and prepare reports to improve future events. [Apply now at https://my.hiredly.com/jobs/jobs-malaysia-institute-of-enterprise-risk-practitioners-job-junior-conference-event-executive] ; Requirements:- -A Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. -Ideally 1 year of experience in event coordination, conference support, or a similar role — internships or volunteer experience count too! -Great at staying organized and juggling multiple tasks and deadlines. -Strong communication skills in English — both written and verbal. -A team player with great interpersonal skills – comfortable working with speakers, vendors, and different teams. -Detail-oriented and able to spot potential issues before they become problems. -Able to stay calm and work well under pressure, especially in fast-paced environments. Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Nice to Have): -Experience working with VIPs or high-profile speakers. -Familiarity with social media or digital marketing tools to help promote events. -Some knowledge of sponsorships or exhibition sales for conferences.
