Job Description
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with extensive relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Food & Beverage, Restaurant, Food Court, or Hospitality operations.
- Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Positive attitude, proactive, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Good knowledge of restaurant/food court operations, customer service, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards.
- Knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and inventory management will be an added advantage.
- Able to work on rotating shifts (morning or afternoon shifts).
- Must possess own transportation.
- Able to communicate in EnglishandBahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
- Reporting directly to the Director / General Manager.
- Must be willing to work in Klang Valley or Pedas, Negeri Sembilan.
Job Requirements
- Oversee the daily operations of the food court to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement operational best practices to improve workflow efficiency, reduce waiting time, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Plan and manage operational budgets, maximize profitability, and achieve sales targets set by Management.
- Lead, recruit, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate supervisors and operational staff.
- Foster a positive working culture while motivating and developing team members to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and evaluate staff productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with food court tenants/vendors, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, health standards, and company operating procedures.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints effectively, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure the premises are well maintained, properly equipped, and adequately stocked for efficient daily operations.
- Manage employee disciplinary matters, performance evaluations, probation confirmations, and annual appraisals.
- Continuously review operational procedures, identify areas for improvement, and recommend effective solutions.
- Prepare and submit regular operational reports, including sales performance, productivity, and business performance, to Management.
