DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To conduct occupational therapy sessions according to the monthly roster.
• To work in the department on-call, out of hours service and staggered hours.
• To provide professional and efficient services providing high quality and effective patient care.
• To monitor the progress of patient treated, provide counseling and instructions for follow-up treatment.
• To update timely the progress notes for in-patients and out-patients.
• To provide relevant reports to consultants in-charge on progress of patients.
• To ensure every patient treated is charged.
• To establish and maintain good rapport and working relationships with all medical users, staff members of all discipline and patients.
• To participate in staff training programmes and training courses for other groups of staff and patients.
• To keep professionally up-to-date with current research, trends and techniques.
• To maintain all necessary statistics and records pertaining to the department and to report the same in a timely manner.
• To ensure all equipment is safely and regularly maintained and that appropriate records are retained.
• To assist in the marketing of available departmental services.
• To perform additional duties and assignments as required
