Role Overview:
As the Supply Chain Specialist - SIRIM Application Compliance, specializing in home appliances electronics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products comply with the regulatory standards set by SIRIM (Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) for certification. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end application process, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring that all requirements are met to secure SIRIM certification for our home appliances electronic products.

Key Responsibilities:

SIRIM Certification Application Management:
Coordinate and manage the application process for obtaining SIRIM certification for our home appliances electronic products, including vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, air fryers, rice cookers, etc.
Review and understand SIRIM certification requirements and standards applicable to home appliances electronics.
Prepare and compile all necessary documentation and information required for the certification application.
Collaboration and Communication:
Liaise with internal departments such as product development, quality assurance, and manufacturing to gather required information and documentation.
Communicate effectively with external partners, including SIRIM representatives and testing laboratories, to facilitate the certification process.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of certification applications and any relevant developments.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure that all documentation submitted for certification applications is accurate, complete, and compliant with SIRIM requirements.
Maintain organized records of certification applications, correspondence, and documentation for audit and reference purposes.
Stay updated on changes to SIRIM certification requirements and standards, and ensure ongoing compliance for home appliances electronic products.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the SIRIM certification application process for home appliances electronic products.
Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
Continuously seek ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in obtaining SIRIM certification for our home appliances electronic products.
