Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Manager to lead the development and improvement of spray paint products for the automotive and motorcycle aftermarket.
This role requires a strong background in paint/coatings chemistry combined with hands-on experience bringing products from lab to mass production.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Lead end-to-end development of spray paint products (concept to launch)
2. Develop and improve spray paint formulations to meet performance, quality, and cost targets
3. Coordinate testing, pilot runs, and production scale-up
4. Ensure compliance with VOC, safety, labeling, and regulatory standards
5. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and suppliers
6. Support product launches and continuous product improvement
Keperluan
Requirements:-
1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field
2. Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in paint/coatings or aerosol product development
3. Hands-on experience with spray paint formulation and manufacturing support
4. Knowledge of automotive or motorcycle aftermarket products
5. Strong understanding of VOC, SDS/MSDS, and product safety compliance
Added Advantage:-
1. Experience with aerosol systems (valves, nozzles, propellants)
2. Knowledge of acrylic, alkyd, PU, or NC paint systems
3. Experience in cost optimization and product improvement
4. Exposure to color matching or OEM color standards
