Role Overview 

We are seeking a Junior Production Support Analyst to support Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) systems, with a primary focus on the Aspect trading platform. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates who want hands-on exposure to enterprise trading systems, production support, and software development within the CTRM domain.

You will work closely with senior support analysts, developers, and business users to maintain the stability of Aspect-based trading systems, while contributing to bug fixes and small code changes and learning the full lifecycle of CTRM applications.

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide Level 1 / Level 2 production support for CTRM systems built on the Aspect platform.
• Monitor trading applications and respond to incidents affecting trade capture, pricing, risk, scheduling, and settlements.
• Investigate production issues by analyzing logs, application behavior, and database data.
• Develop and implement code fixes for identified bugs or minor enhancements under guidance from senior team members.
• Assist in testing and validating bug fixes before promoting them to higher environments.
• Log, track, and manage incidents and defects using ITSM and Agile tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
• Communicate with business users (trading, operations, risk) to understand issues and provide status updates.
• Participate in incident resolution and post-incident reviews to understand root causes and preventive actions.
• Assist with system handovers, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Follow defined support processes, SLAs, and escalation procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with development and QA teams.
• Participate in on-call and shift-based support with proper training and supervision.

Technical & Domain Exposure (Learning Focus)

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with:

• Aspect CTRM application components and configurations
• End-to-end commodity trading lifecycle:
  • Physical commodities
  • Derivatives and futures
  • Trade booking, pricing, risk calculations, and settlements
• Writing and maintaining code for bug fixes, small enhancements, and support-related changes.
• Executing SQL like queries for data validation, issue analysis, and reconciliation.
• Understanding system integrations between Aspect and external systems.
