Responsibilities: -Monitor and Manage Cloud Security Tools: Configure and maintain security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, CASB, and SIEM tools specific to cloud infrastructure to detect and respond to security threats. Overview of the threat situation in the cloud and identification of recommendations for action -Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to regulatory compliance requirements and internal security standards -Implement Security Policies and Best Practices: Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices for secure configurations, data encryption, network segmentation, etc -Conduct Security Assessments and Audits: Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and regular security audits to identify and mitigate potential threats within cloud infrastructure -Identity and Access Management (IAM): Configure and enforce IAM policies to ensure that only authorized users have access to cloud resources and data -Data Protection: Implement and manage data encryption, backups, and recovery procedures to protect data integrity and availability in the cloud.
