Job Summary: The Finance Operations Intern will support the finance team by assisting with the processing and verification of supplier invoices. This includes ensuring that invoice amounts align with accruals or estimates, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with relevant departments to resolve any issues. The role offers hands-on experience with financial systems and exposure to end-to-end invoice processing in a dynamic operational environment. Key Responsibilities: -Verify that all supplier invoices align with accruals or estimates before processing. -Ensure invoices are approved and processed in accordance with company guidelines and ISO standards. -Identify and dispute any incorrect supplier invoices by escalating them to the relevant department. -Accurately input and match invoices in the designated finance system (e.g., Cargowise) in a timely manner. -Assist in maintaining proper documentation and records of all processed invoices. -Support the finance and operations team with any ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned by the manager.
