Financial Reporting: -Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. -Analyze financial data and present insights to the management team. -Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to stakeholders. Accounting Operations: -Oversee the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. -Ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions and records. -Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting. Compliance and Audits: -Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). -Coordinate external audits and work closely with auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes. -Manage tax reporting and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Cash Flow Management: -Monitor cash flow and manage cash reserves to ensure the company’s financial stability. -Develop strategies for effective cash management and optimize working capital. Financial Analysis: -Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and investment analysis. -Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections. Strategic Planning: -Collaborate with senior management in developing long-term financial strategies. -Provide financial insights to support business growth and expansion initiatives. -Participate in the development of corporate strategies and plans. Team Leadership and Development: -Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. -Ensure team members are trained on accounting standards and financial procedures. -Conduct performance evaluations and support career development for team members. Risk Management: -Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. -Ensure that the company has adequate insurance coverage and risk management policies in place.
