Job Summary We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Assistant, Accounts to support the daily finance and accounting operations of the Company. This role provides essential support in bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, documentation, and general finance administration to ensure accurate financial records and smooth operational processes. -Assist in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and follow-ups. -Perform data entry of accounting transactions into the accounting system accurately and timely. -Assist in bank reconciliations and monthly closing activities. -Support preparation of basic financial reports and schedules as required. -Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records, invoices, and vouchers. -Assist in monitoring outstanding receivables and coordinating with internal stakeholders. -Support fixed asset record updates and basic tracking. -Assist during audits by preparing supporting documents and schedules. -Liaise with internal departments and external parties (e.g. auditors, banks, vendors) on routine accounting matters. -Perform general administrative duties related to finance and accounts. -Undertake other related tasks as assigned by Management from time to time. System / Software Proficiency -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). -Proficient in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Gmail, etc.). -Experience with accounting ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms. -Familiarity with emerging software trends and AI-powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT, automation applications) is an added advantage to improve efficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and process automation. Key Skills and Competencies -Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. -Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. -Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. -Well-organised, responsible, and able to meet deadlines. -High level of integrity and confidentiality. -Willing to learn and able to work with guidance. -A team player who can work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
