Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth, expand market presence, and identify new business opportunities. This role is responsible for developing and executing business strategies, managing key initiatives, and contributing directly to the company’s revenue and expansion goals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term business development strategies
- Drive achievement of revenue targets, budgets, and overall business objectives
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities including new markets, products, and partnerships (M&A, JV,
- investments)
- Lead market expansion initiatives into new regions and segments
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring
- Identify potential opportunities, risks, and emerging market developments
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
Sales & Client Acquisition
- Identify, approach, and develop relationships with potential customers
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and business pitches to secure new clients
- Manage new customer onboarding and order processes
Product & Project Management
- Support new product development initiatives and costing processes
- Oversee execution of new business deals and ensure timely delivery to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, technical, R&D)
- Engage team members to achieve business targets and project outcomes
- Provide leadership and direction in business development initiatives
Ad-hoc Responsibilities
- Handle assigned projects, strategic initiatives, and tasks from management
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (Master’s is an advantage)
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in a related field
- At least 5 years in a managerial role
- Strong background in business development, sales, and strategic planning
- Broad business understanding across functions (sales, finance, technical, etc.)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
