Job Description
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, and drive go-to-market sales strategies for the Malaysia market.
- Own and expand the sales pipeline, with full accountability for new client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Deliver against sales targets by executing effective strategies to grow market share.
- Collaborate with regional marketing leaders to strengthen KooDoo’s brand presence and market awareness.
- Understand client objectives and design tailored solutions that align with or exceed business goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Gather and share market insights and client feedback to support product enhancement and ecosystem development.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the Business Development team to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Set clear team goals, KPIs, and performance expectations aligned with company objectives.
- Foster a high-performance, results-driven, and collaborative team culture.
- Conduct regular team meetings, pipeline reviews, and sales strategy discussions.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and development of Business Development team members.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business reports, and management updates.
- Ensure CRM accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and proper sales documentation.
- Drive process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and team productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and reporting standards.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Partner Management within E-Commerce, SaaS, or Internet-related industries with 2+ years lead a team experiences.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the digital or online commerce space.
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven and ownership mindset.
- Highly self-motivated, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in E-Commerce, Social Commerce, or SaaS or GaaS is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin or Cantonese is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in the E-Commerce and technology sector will be a strong plus.
