This role covers all aspects of logistics and part of procurement operations, including costs optimisation, and continuous process improvement to strive for highest possible effectiveness and efficiencies by working closely with the Procurement Manager. • Logistics Management: Ensure seamless inbound and outbound cargo movements to avoid unnecessary charges/delay. Prompt application of Preferential Certificate of Origin (PCO), and delivering with shipping documents to customer. - Stakeholder Management: Close liaison with stakeholders to ensure prudent and smooth execution of tasks, especially matters related to logistics and Customs, to support operations of Business Units and customers. - Purchasing: Optimise purchases through active sourcing, negotiation, and applying Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis. Optimise inventories by balancing demand from internal stakeholders and reasonable inventories holding. - Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance to relevant laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies. -Reporting and Analysis: Periodically update work progress and status. Experience in the plastic industry will be an added advantage. Application from fresh university graduates will be considered. - Experience in import and export shipments, with knowledge in customs procedures, sales tax exemption, and Common Effective Preferential Tariff (CEPT). - Proven in transforming and improving processes. - Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal communication.
