Job Summary We are looking for a System Engineer to join our team on a 1-year contract for a highly capable System Engineer (Infrastructure) to support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations of highly available infrastructure for government and telco-related projects. The role involves working in a high-availability, multi-site environment with hybrid cloud and on-premise components. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing infrastructure components such as Linux servers, DNS, Kubernetes, HAProxy, Postfix, and backup systems, supporting critical systems and ensuring infrastructure resilience and security. Responsibilities: -Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure across multiple environments (on-premise and cloud). -Manage DNS infrastructure, including BIND, DNSSEC, zone file management, and integration with APIs. -Operate and support containerized environments using Kubernetes (K3s) and ingress solutions such as HAProxy or Traefik. -Enforce infrastructure hardening and patching compliance (CIS benchmark, ISO standards). -Coordinate and maintain HA/DR across dual-site architectures. -Plan and execute backup strategies for application data, configuration files, logs, and platform states. -Prepare and maintain infrastructure documentation, operational SOPs, and network diagrams. -Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and support teams to meet project timelines and uptime SLAs.
