Position Summary: As a Technical Service Support professional, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, provide system maintenance, and offer support across a range of IT services including hardware, software, networks, and applications. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication to ensure timely and efficient support to internal staff or external clients. [Apply now at https://my.hiredly.com/jobs/jobs-malaysia-srg-asia-pacific-sdn-bhd-job-technical-services-support-specialist] ; Requirements:- Key Responsibilities: Technical Support and Troubleshooting: • Provide first and second-level support for IT-related issues including hardware, software, networking, and peripheral devices. • Respond promptly to service requests via phone, email, or support ticket systems, diagnosing and resolving issues related to IT infrastructure. • Troubleshoot issues such as system crashes, software malfunctions, network connectivity problems, and other technical challenges. • Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or external service providers when necessary. System Installation and Configuration: • Assist in the installation, configuration, and setup of new hardware, software, and operating systems. • Ensure proper configuration of user accounts, security protocols, and access controls. • Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system functionality and security. Hardware and Software Maintenance: • Manage and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other peripherals. • Ensure regular backup of system data and assist with system restore and disaster recovery procedures. • Provide routine maintenance for servers, network devices, and workstations. Network Support: • Provide support for network-related issues such as connectivity problems, network device configuration, and bandwidth management. • Monitor the network performance and troubleshoot network issues, collaborating with network administrators when necessary. • Assist in configuring and supporting VPNs, Wi-Fi networks, and remote access solutions. User Support and Training: • Provide end-user training and guidance on software applications, hardware usage, and troubleshooting techniques. • Act as a liaison between IT and end-users to ensure that all technical queries and service requests are addressed efficiently. • Document common issues and create user guides or FAQs for end-users
