Responsibilities: -Deliver production features end to end across the full stack — Angular frontend, Node.js backend, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB data layer — from scoping and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and validation. -Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs that integrate structured content authoring workflows with regulated document management processes. -Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot platform services on AWS infrastructure including ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, EventBridge, CloudFormation, and CloudFront. -Implement and enforce GxP compliance controls — audit trails, electronic signatures, data integrity, and access controls — as integral parts of every feature, aligned with 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 requirements. -Improve platform reliability by identifying fragile areas, adding observability and telemetry, writing runbooks, and resolving root causes before they become production incidents. -Review code with depth and intent, catching design problems and explaining the reasoning behind feedback to elevate the quality and technical decision-making of junior and mid-level engineers. -Contribute informed, evidence-based opinions to architecture discussions, challenging proposals that don't hold up and suggesting well-reasoned alternatives. -Leverage AI tools as a default part of the development workflow — code generation, test scaffolding, documentation — while rigorously validating all outputs to meet regulated-environment standards.
